Reaching People Through Our Advocacies

At the Tina Grimes Foundation Inc., we feed the homeless, participate in various toy drives, provide makeover for prom season,  and clothing for the community. We also donate bookbags with new school supplies, and lead financial management workshops.

Tina Grimes have also launched a new podcast, Talks With Tina Gee, where Tina Gee talks all things domestic/gun violence and ways to prevent it. We also share literature that supports women, teens and men. Covid preempted our fundraising avenues so donations are greatly appreciated. Helps us by donating.

Who we are

The Tina Grimes Foundation is a 501c (3) Non-Profit Organization that is dedicated to reaching back and paying it forward in the community.

In 2011, Tina Grimes started the Tina Grimes Foundation. Tina Grimes faced many obstacles growing up in the Washington metropolitan area, and there was no one there to assist or guide her in the right direction. Tina’s desire to Reach Back and help all young women and girls is significant. By telling her story, she aspires to help enrich the lives of hundreds, thousands, even millions of young females.

The Tina Grimes Foundation is organized to provide self-esteem, motivation, social enrichment and job training services for low-income, at-risk and under-served populations.  The Tina Grimes Foundation engages youth in challenging activities while building self-confidence and empowers them to take leadership roles in their schools and communities.

One of the key focuses of the Tina Grimes Foundation is to involve young teens in community service and to build self-efficacy so they see that they can and do make a difference.

Moving forward

As we move forward, with this valuable life changing program, our purpose is to enhance the lives of all at-risk adolescents and young women by providing them with resources to empower them to make a change in their lives.

The Tina Grimes Foundation will hold workshops and seminars to raise awareness of teen pregnancy, domestic violence, gun violence, entrepreneurship and other topics that face our youth today.
