Leading the Charge Against Domestic Abuse
The Tina Grimes Foundation aims to connect adolescents and young women to the professional mentors and supportive female adults they need. We want to lend a helping hand to the underserved young women who are survivors of domestic violence. Through our available resources, we want to actively take steps toward creating a future where abuse against women is no longer a reality.
About Us
Tina Grimes, our founder, was a survivor of domestic violence herself. Our nonprofit organization was established in 2011 to help other women who have been through similar or worse situations as Tina.
We want to build strong relationships among women of all ages through our partnerships and programs. We aim to teach young women how to be confident and that they are not alone. By introducing them to new activities, ideas, and business opportunities, they can expand their mindset and create a new vision for their future.
Our Mission
The Tina Grimes Foundation’s mission is to reach back and help young women and girls one at a time by sharing our stories to end domestic violence through advocacy and community education.
Our Programs
We provide domestic violence awareness workshops and teach the youth how to combat teen pregnancy. Our organization also helps lessen neighborhood tensions by providing mentoring programs for the youth. We want to motivate women by teaching them the importance of self-development, self-esteem, family respect, effective work habits, community involvement, and service.
